'Spider-Man Classics' is a
toy line produced by Toy Biz featuring finely
sculpted and accessorized 6-inch action figures of Marvel's
iconic character, Spider-Man. There were two Toy Biz
'Spider-Man Classics' lines: a clamshell-package line
and a blister-card line.
The clamshell line, first
released in 2001, had only 3 series: Series 1, Series 2,
and KB Toys Series. The clamshell line was
no longer used in Spider-Man Classics after this, but
was continued to be used with the Marvel Legends line.
Nonetheless, Toy Biz continued producing the
Spider-Man Classics toy line in 2002, this time using
blister-cards to differentiate it from the Marvel
